*If we are able to earn your business and you select us to represent you in your home purchase, we will issue you a rebate of our net commission upon a successful close of escrow. Rebate will be dispersed per H.U.D. agreement and escrow instructions.
Here is how it works.
We will issue escrow instructions to credit you 10% to 20% of our final NET commission. The percentage varies according to your purchase price.
10% rebate is available on purchase prices of $350,000-$500,000
12% rebate is available on purchase prices of $500,001-$699,999
15% rebate is available on purchase prices of $700,00-$2,999,999
18% rebate is available on purchase prices of $3,000,000-$7,999,999
20% rebate is available on purchase prices of $8,000,000-$12,000,000
There are no rebates available above $12M
*Rebates to Buyers are legal in California and are often time the deciding factor when choosing a real estate agent. Many companies offer a rebate. My experience with those companies has been their lack of service when it comes to assisting you with your home search. Some companies will not even arrange a showing for you which means you must attend public open houses to view your home of choice. Other companies will actually pay the Listing agent a fee ($500) to show the home to you.
As you can imagine, this behavior is met with resistance and skepticism on behalf of the listing agent as they believe they are doing all the work and therefore should receive ALL the commission.
